This book stresses that Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era shines with the tincts of the Marxist philosophy. As a typical example of innovative development of the Marxist philosophy in contemporary China, it is a kind of practice philosophy that’s rooted in China’s reality and seeks answers to questions for the era; a public philosophy that pays attention to public interests and is close to people’s lives; a “dialectical philosophy” that follows the objective rules and handles the complicated situation; a development philosophy that focuses on real confl icts and highlights reform innovations; as well as a value philosophy which has rich cultural deposits and shows the strength of mind.
