About the Author
Liu Houbin, born in August, 1966, is from Jishui, Jiangxi province. He is the librarian of Renmin University of China and professor of School of History. He successively received his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctor’s degree from Department of History of Peking University. He was adjunct researcher of Center for Research on Ancient Chinese History of Peking University and visiting scholar of Harvard-Yenching Institute and Arizona State University.
