He mainly studies the Chinese Communist Party building and Party history and modern politics in China. Into the new century, he has led one national major research project, one national key research project and one national research project for young scholars, respectively; published over 100 academic treaties in such core Chinese journals as Qiushi, People\u2019s Daily, Guangming Daily, CPC History Studies and Studies on Marxism, \ufb01ve monographs, two academic books in collaboration with others, and one translation; served as the chief compiler of \u201cContemporary Western Political Parties Study Translation Series\u201d (5-volume) and \u201cCompilation of Literature on Chinese Political Party Doctrine\u201d (4-volume).
