JIN Nuo is currently the chairperson of the University Council of Renmin University of China. Her previous appointments include vice-chairperson of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and deputy director of ideological politics at the State Education Commission (now the Ministry of Education). She
\nholds a PhD in Law from Renmin University of China. Dr. JIN\u2019s research areas are Marxist theory and ideological education. She has presided over and completed two major research projects: \u201cStrengthening Marxist Ideology and Students\u2019 Ideological Education in Colleges and Universities,\u201d a project supported by the National Social Science Foundation, and \u201cCollege Students\u2019 Mental Health Education Research,\u201d a project included in the Tenth Five-Year Plan of National Social Science Education. She has also participated in many other projects supported by national and provincial social science foundations. Her published works include Strengthening Marxist Ideology and Students\u2019 Ideological Education in Colleges and Universities and Characteristics and Patterns of Ideological Work on Intellectuals in Colleges and Universities.<\/p>\n
