On November 8, the Forum on Chinese Path to Modernization and New Opportunities for China-Latin America Publishing Cooperation was held in Santiago, Chile. The Forum was a key event during the Santiago International Book Fair 2024 that was\u00a0being held with China the guest of honor.\u00a0Guests including\u00a0heads of relevant departments of Chinese institutions, Niu Qingbao, Ambassador of China to Chile, and Fernando Reyes Matta, former Ambassador of Chile to China, attended the forum and delivered speeches. More than 150 publishers and scholars from Chinese and Latin American publishing and cultural circles, and university think tanks attended the Forum.\"\"<\/p>\n

During the Forum, the Belt &\u00a0Road Publishing\u00a0Cooperative received\u00a0new members.\u00a0Mr. Li Yongqiang,\u00a0Chairman of the Board of the Cooperative released a report on the achievements\u00a0in\u00a0the development of the Cooperative, which was then joined by\u00a0a\u00a0number of Chilean research institutions and publishers. The Spanish versions\u00a0of Xi Jinping’s Socialist Thought with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era in Zhejiang<\/em>\u00a0by Zhejiang Publishing United Group, Face to Face with Chinese Modernization<\/em>\u00a0by Xue Xi Chu Ban She and China Intercontinental Press, the \u201cContemporary China\u201d Series by China Renmin University Press, The Roots and Achievements of the \u201cChinese Miracle\u201d<\/em>:<\/em>\u00a0China on the Road to the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation<\/em>\u00a0by China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd, and other books were launched at the Forum. China Renmin University Press also signed a cooperative agreement with Hueders for the Spanish copyright\u00a0of Chinese Modernization for the Common Wealth of All People<\/em>.<\/p>\n
