On September 15, 2025, Gale, part of Cengage Group, visited China Renmin University Press (CRUP). The delegation was received by Mr. Li Yongqiang, Chair of the Press Council\u00a0and Chairman\u00a0of the Board, along with\u00a0Mr.\u00a0Wang Lei, Vice General Manager, of CRUP. During the meeting, CRUP leadership held discussions with Seth Kelly, Vice President of Publishing, International at Gale. Both parties reviewed the outcomes of their collaborative projects and discussed plans for future cooperation. The talks also covered key industry topics, including the impact of artificial intelligence on publishing, as well as current opportunities and challenges faced by the sector. The exchange highlighted a shared interest in navigating the evolving publishing landscape through strengthened partnership.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the two parties signed the English translation rights licensing agreement for the book\u00a0Ecological Civilization and Chinese Modernization<\/i><\/em>. This significant work delves into Xi Jinping\u2019s thought on ecological civilization, elucidating its origins and core principles. It explores the intrinsic relationship between ecological civilization and Chinese modernization, while also examining ancient Chinese ecological wisdom and its enduring relevance today. The book analyzes current challenges and priorities in advancing ecological civilization. Building on this foundation, it focuses on key tasks such as the development of the national park system, achieving the Dual Carbon Goals, and participating in global environmental governance. The study proposes practical measures aimed at building a Beautiful China and contributing to a Chinese modernization characterized by harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.<\/p>\n
