<\/p>\nOn February 20, 2025, a delegation from Pearson Education Group visited China Renmin University Press (CRUP). Li Yongqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board, CRUP, and Guo Xiaoming, Deputy General Manager, met with Ruth Cunney, International Copyright Director of Pearson, and Anson Li, Senior Copyright Manager for Pearson\u2019s International Products. The two sides held in-depth discussions on future cooperation in areas such as textbook publishing, digital transformation and international copyrights.<\/p>\n

Chairman Li Yongqiang extended a warm welcome to the Pearson delegation. Mr. Li briefly reviewed CRUP\u2019s development history and the longstanding collaboration between the two parties in textbook publishing, academic publishing and trade publishing. He also introduced CRUP\u2019s current publishing landscape and future trends. Xiong Xianju, Director of the Management Publishing Division, Li Wenzhong, Director of the Science and Engineering Publishing Division and Chen Jian, General Manager of the Digital Company of CRUP, provided also shared updates on CRUP\u2019s advancements in economic management, science and engineering and digital publishing.<\/p>\n
Ms. Ruth Cunney shared her insights on Pearson\u2019s publishing strategies and future vision. Then the two parties conducted in-depth discussion on potential future collaboration. Both Ms. Cunney and Mr. Anson Li expressed appreciation of CRUP\u2019s achievements in the publishing realm and reaffirmed their will to deepening ties. The meeting strengthened mutual understanding and trust between CRUP and Pearson, paving the way for more pragmatic collaborative projects in the future.<\/p>\n
